he Karimnagar cops on Thursday conducted prayer meetings of all religions in different temples here as part of the week-long Police Commemoration programmes in the memory of police martyrs. The prayers organised in Sri Venkateswara Temple, Gurudwara, CSI Cathedral Church and Savaran Masjid in the city.

The prayers organised in Sri Venkateswara Temple, Gurudwara, CSI Cathedral Church and Savaran Masjid in the city.

Paying respect to the cops, who laid down their lives in the call of duty, Police Commissioner VB Kamalasan Reddy said that due to the police personnel’s selfless service, people are able to live peacefully.

“The sacrifices made by the police personnel will not go waste,” he asserted, stating that they will fulfill the dreams of the martyrs.

ACPs T Annapurna and J Rama Rao, Armed Reserve DSPD Koteswara Rao, Inspectors Vijaya Saradhi, Hari Prasad, Sadanandam, Krishna Gowd, Mahesh Gowd, T Narayana, Reserve Inspector Gangadhar and SI Buchi Ramulu were among others present.

The police also conducted a blood donation camp at the headquarters in association with Red Cross Society and Lion’s Club (Kakatiya). As many as 80 people including policemen and members of various NGOs donated their blood on the occasion.
