Vuyyuru girl performs at Delhi dance festival

P Akshara, a student of Sri Srinivasa Educational Institutions of Vuyyuru, presented a dance recital at `Natya Sampradhayam - Dance Journey of Bhagavathas’ in New Delhi.

According to a press release issued by Srinivasa Educational Institutions on Sunday, the four-day Kuchipudi dance festival was jointly organised by the International Dance Research and Training Centre, Department of Language and Culture and Delhi Telugu Academy at AP Bhavan fromThursday. Akshara received a certificate and a memento from Kuchipudi dance exponents Jayarama Rao and Sitakumari for her impressive dance performance at the festival.

Srinivasa Educational Institutions president Paruchuri Srinivasa Rao, director P Neelima, CPI national secretary K Narayana, Supreme Court Judge Lavu Nageswara Rao, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award recipient Pasumarthy Rattaiah Sarma and others were present on the occasion.
