Rubeena Parvin from Khammam, studied MCJ and worked as journalist before starting Ruby Films Private Limited.

She made more than 500 documentary films on various issues and simultaneously she started ‘Beauty Wheels’ a mobile beauty parlour.
It was her childhood dream she says, “I have had that dream thousand times since childhood in which I saw a huge building where many women in pink colour dress work happily and at the end of the day take salaries with a smile.

This is a dream that chased me for a long time.

Later, I decided to provide employment for women those who were illiterate and I started ‘Beauty Wheels’ in Banjara Hills, (Beauty on Wheels.com) to achieve my dream.”

The inspirations behind starting are women, “I worked more than ten years in journalism and I met rural people in various parts of India and I understood how they are living.

Many women in rural areas are not getting any work due to illiteracy.

Later, I decided to start a mobile beautician firm to give opportunities to them.

Before starting, I did research about the current beauty trends and products.

I interacted with women and explained them about the beautician course.

Today, we have more than 200 women working in my firm,” she adds.

“We provide beauty services at home by proficient beautician that saves the money and time associated with parlour visits.

Customers can book our services through phone, website or mobile app.

We have highly trained and professional beauticians with minimum five years of experience.

Our service includes facials, pedicure, manicure, threading, waxing, haircuts, hair colouring, hair streaking, and reflexology.

We use best quality products and also pure organic range of products.

We give 50 hours of training to every beautician that includes professional skill development, etiquette, spoken English, diets, personal hygiene and self-defense.

We also give refresher training every two months for two hours, which is the first of its kind in India,” she shared.

Before sending their staff to the customers they enquire all details about customers for safety measures.

Usually they send two women to customers after receiving the order. They have services only for women.

They also take necessary steps for their employees’ security.

“We ask our customers about their skin type and based on that we send appropriate treatment material.

We are looking forward to expand ‘Beauty Wheels’ all over India, in major cities.

This is a social enterprise; my aim is to provide employment for one lakh women,” she concluded.
