St Andrews High School crushed Cal Public School by 107 runs to annex the HCA Brother John of God Trophy after topping the Under-14 cricket tournament in the city on Monday.Batting first, St Andrews posted a massive 236 runs for the loss of eight wickets, thanks to half-centuries by Shanmukha MA (55) and Shiv Shankar Shubham (64).

Batting first, St Andrews posted a massive 236 runs for the loss of eight wickets, thanks to half-centuries by Shanmukha MA (55) and Shiv Shankar Shubham (64).

The opponents gave no semblance of chasing the target, save for Y Arun, whose 64 was the only face-saving innings and raised some hope for as long as he was in the middle.

Later, TH Shamsundar gave away the prizes in the presence of HCA administrators, including league in-charge E Gopal, Mahender Gulecha and K Rajender.
