​Mancherial: Police would extend more services to people through Police Mithra (Friendly Police), said Ramagundam Police Commissioner Vikram Jeet Duggal here on Friday.

Addressing the doctors at a meeting with Indian Medical Association (IMA), he said the cops have been solving public issues through various programmes like ‘friendly police’, ‘police for you’ etc. ‘To serve people in a better way, we are planning to launch friendly police programme from this Ugadi,’ he said.

The Commissioner asked the doctors’ co-operation in this regard. Duggal said that they will organise medical camps in all areas to reach the people to know their problems.

Deputy Commissioner of Police John Wesley, Bellampalli ACP Sathish, Jaipur ACP Kavitha, CI Sudhakar, IMA president SB Venkateshwarlu, DMHO Bhishma, local doctors, police staff attended the meeting.
