Kamareddy: As many as 111 tractors were distributed under ‘Yantra Lakshmi’ scheme with a subsidy of 95 per cent to people belonging to Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes at Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.

Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Pocharam Srinivas Reddy participated in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for implementing such beneficial schemes. “The subsidised tractors will be over seen by vigilance department.

Action would be taken if anyone sells these tractors. Till now, Rs 10.57 crore has been spent for tractors,” he added.

Government Whip Gampa Goverdhan, District Collector Dr N Satyanarayana, ZP Chairman D Raju, Yellareddy MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy, Jukkal MLA Hanumanth Shinde were among the participants.
