Hip-hop and metal seem like they couldn't be farther apart on the musical spectrum. However, if you look closely, they're more similar than you'd think. Both genres are often driven by a certain percussive intensity-the sonic foundation of many songs is the chest-thumping formidable synergy between the bass and the drums. Both genres explore anger, internal conflict, feelings of superiority and dominance. Finally, both genres are known for their wild aggressiveness. Most songs in both worlds seem to be mixed and mastered with illegal doses adrenaline.
On the contrary this alchemy was new and mysterious to most of us till… say 2010. Or in simple words, most of us were oblivious of this blend until DeathRap was born. 'DeathRap – Hyderabad, India' is a fresh breeze for youth Hip-Hop music world. This stuff is basically a style of rap which revolves around violent, gore, fatal and brutal lyrics and themes. All hail! Its death metal rap from the city of Nizams!
But this intermingle of genres ain’t the only stuff that makes these youngsters cool. Formed in late 2010 when a young bunch of enthusiasts from the historical city of Hyderabad got together to compose bilingual (Urdu/English) rap for the music lovers, the wild side of anarchy which bucked authority at every turn came to lime light. And DeathRap became synonymous to Death Metal rapping of Hyderabad, with an Urdu style setting an own epitome.

DeathRap is what we run’ was also aired several times on ‘MTV’ Music Channel under the block of ‘MTV Roots’ in February 2013.
