On a mixed day for Indian players, the rising young talents from Hyderabad M Theertha Shashank and Shrivalli Rashmikaa posted two emphatic first round wins in their respective categories of the ITF-Juniors Grade 4 tournament at Bangkok on Monday.

According to information received here, Shashank, fresh from a doubles title win in the AITA ranking tournament in his backyard, defeated Thailand player Wanchaiana Phasitwasan whle Rashmikaa also prevailed over Irawan Deewajee. However, other Telangana State players M Nikit Reddy and Sravya Shivani faced first round exits.
