Saroornagar: Six SSC students of New Rainbow Integrated School here on Thursday faced an uncertain future after their hall-tickets were found to be issued by a school which did not have permission. The hall-tickets were allegedly secured from Sri Dwarakamayi School in New Marutinagar. The students staged dharna at the Integrated School along with their parents. No New Rainbow School management representatives was available for its response.
Two students, Vijaykumar and Avinash, whose episode of hall-tickets was exposed on Thursday, while speaking to The Hans India, expressed anguish over their uncertain future, as the years they had spent so far on study would be wasted. They demanded justice.
Several leaders of student organisations when confronted with the issue stated that the school’s stand gave scope for suspecision, as it remembered the hall-ticket issue at the eleventh hour. They pointed out that there would be no use taking the issue to the notice of the Education department with regard to schools without permission.
They suspected the involvement of the Education department officials in the episode. The issue received criticism that there was no school and that it was only a rubber stamp institution, with the students made to believe that it existed.
