MLA orders change in under-bridge alignment
Local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao on Wednesday launched the marking work of the Rs.59-crore four-lane railway under-bridge for regulating traffic from Kukatpally to Hitec City, adjacent to the VII phase railway track near the Peddamma temple. The temple has been built by the residents of Khaitlapur, Musapet and Kulkatpally with the help of those living in nearby villages.
Kukatpally: Local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao on Wednesday launched the marking work of the Rs.59-crore four-lane railway under-bridge for regulating traffic from Kukatpally to Hitec City, adjacent to the VII phase railway track near the Peddamma temple. The temple has been built by the residents of Khaitlapur, Musapet and Kulkatpally with the help of those living in nearby villages.
The residents of Khaitlapur, Musapet and Kulkatpally pleaded with the MLA to ensure that the temple was affected by the work. Rao inspected the temple along with officials of the project wing and Town Planning department. He directed the officials that changes should be made in the under-bridge alignment to ensure that the temple is not affected and the sentiments of the residents are not hurt.
The residents hailed the MLA’s directive. Among those present during the inspection were TRS division president Saibabachary, Babu Rao, Sunil, Pratap, Gubbala Jyoti, Bhavani, Anjibabu, Santosh, Yadayya, Prabhakar.
