DME officials inspect OGH new building
Efforts for the construction of new building at Osmania General Hospital (OGH) seems to be started since officials are making moves in this direction. Engineering officials including Doctorate Medical Education (DME) and others visited the hospital premises and inspected the construction site.

OGH superintendent Dr Nagendar was also in the inspection team. DME Ramesh Reddy has informed that inspection was made following the instructions of Health Minister Ch Laxma Reddy. He said that a meeting was held to discuss the new building structure and fate of the old structure besides the Nursing Hostel and Dhobi Ghat in the premises.
He said that opinions and different views on the proposal have been discussed. He has informed that a world class building along with modern mortuary would be constructed in the available six acre land in the hospital premises.
He said that issues related to recruitment of nurses were also discussed and forensic section recruitment issue was in the court. He said that necessary measures for recruitment of security persons, installation of security cameras were on.
