Hyderabad: Seeking implementation of BC declaration, a delegation under the leadership of Telangana BC Welfare Association president Erla Satyanarayana submitted a memorandum to Assembly speaker Madhusudanachari on Monday.

The memorandum demanded increase in quota from 34 per cent to 54 per cent; immediate allotment of Rs 11,000 crore to 5.77 lakh applicants who applied for loans on subsidy through BC Corporation and Federation; immediate inauguration of approved Gurukul schools and colleges. The leaders decided to send an all-party delegation to New Delhi seeking quota in legislatures and job promotions. Later, the delegation said that the Speaker responded positively to their memorandum. Leaders V Bhikshapathi, Bandari Latha, Gujja Ramesh, Ramya, Jyothi, Mamatha were present.
