Hyderabad: On the occasion of 18th Foundation Day of Basavatarkam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha came up with a novel initiative for cancer screening of aged women.
She appealed to all citizens to get their mother screened on their birthdays free of cost at the Indo-American Hospital. Early detection of cancer helps a lot in fight against the dreaded disease, especially cervical and breast cancers are predominant in women. But many neglect the cancer screening tests. To create awareness and conduct cancer screening tests this initiative would prove a great benefit to mothers.
