Osmania University: Vice-chancellor Prof S Ramchandram on Sunday called upon civil engineer fraternity to apply modern methods in construction of roads and maintain quality.
Ramchandram was addressing a workshop on ‘pavement design, evaluation and maintenance’ for GHMC civil engineers organised by civil engineering department. He also advised them to repair the potholes on roads properly to avert accidents. Prof K Sudhakar Reddy from IIT-KGP explained the new methods and technologies in road construction.
GHMC chief engineer (maintenance) Md Ziauddin, workshop convener Dr D Rajashekar Reddy were present.
