SCR going strong in propagating Hindi
The South Central Railway (SCR) which comprises a major area coming under Non-Hindi speaking region, is performing creditably in the propagation of the official language, Hindi on the Zone, said Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, SCR.

Presiding the 158th meeting of the Zonal Official Language Implementation Committee (ZOLIC) held on Tuesday, Yadav stressed on the fact that the deficiencies which come to notice in propagating use of Hindi, should be overcome at the fastest and targets should be set to attain 100 per cent record in every aspect.
The General Manager who also released ‘Rail Sudha’ - the Hindi Journal of SCR wanted the magazine to be published half yearly, so that the enormous pool of talent amongst SCR’s officers and staff get an opportunity to showcase their writings in Hindi language.
Earlier, AA Phadke, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer and Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari, SCR in his welcome address highlighted the initiative being undertaken to spread news of Hindi on the Zone. There was a fresh enthusiasm amongst all divisions, departments and workshops to participate and propagate Hindi and every level, he stated.
