Durgam Cheruvu Cable Stayed Bridge is being executed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), which is presently under construction by L&T- HCIC at Madhapur, near Inorbit mall, which after  its completion will be the India’s largest Extra Dosed cable stayed bridge  surpassing the 144m long extra dosed bridge over Narmada river in Bharuch, Gujarat.

Hyderabad: Durgam Cheruvu Cable Stayed Bridge is being executed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), which is presently under construction by L&T- HCIC at Madhapur, near Inorbit mall, which after its completion will be the India’s largest Extra Dosed cable stayed bridge surpassing the 144m long extra dosed bridge over Narmada river in Bharuch, Gujarat.

Keeping in view the ‘Make in India’ campaign, the bridge was being designed and constructed under Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode by L&T. The project involves a lot of coordination with various international accredited firms as encapsulated below. Currently, all the foundations and substructure works have been completed and superstructure works were being executed at a full pace.

After its completion, the bridge would cut the distance between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur and would make the distinction of being Hyderabad’s first ‘Hanging Bridge’ with aesthetic lightning and destined to be a major recreational point and tourist attraction for the city.
