Collector alerts officials on encroachment of govt lands
District collector MV Reddy on Thursday instructed tahsildars to take initiatives to make alert VROs and VRAs towards protection of government lands at a review meeting held at collectorate. He directed VROs to monitor lands and tanks on daily basis in each village to protect them from encroachment.

He also warned of action against irresponsible officers and asked Irrigation divisional engineer Manjula to take action against those people who illegally transporting mud from the tanks. The collector directed agricultural officer Shobha to take initiative in making AEOs to upload the details of the farmers in district under Rythu Bandhu scheme on tabs immediately.
He asked revenue officials by using Dharani portal expedite online process of Aadhar seeding, digital sign, passbook correction, survey number, gender correction. He also asked them to coordinate with bank officials to hand over cheques of Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi schemes to beneficiaries in a stipulated time. Joint collector D Srinivas Reddy, DRO Vijaya Kumari, RDos Lachhi Reddy and Madhusudan were present.
