Kadapa: YSR Congress honorary president YS Vijayamma alleged on Tuesday that the ruling Congress party took the decision on State bifurcation only to suppress Kadpa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy politically. Addressing the newsmen at Idupulapaya in the district on Tuesday, she said that the Congress leadership could not digest the growing popularity of Jaganmohan Reddy among the people and brought the Telangana issue to obstruct the YSRCP from improving its cadre.
She flayed the double standards of both the Congress and the TDP in the State bifurcation issue which created disturbances in the three regions. The YSRCP leader demanded the UPA government to do equal justice to the people of both Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
