She attended as a chief guest at an awareness programme on ‘Laws for women safety and security’ at the collectorate conference hall in Suryapet on Monday.

She suggested the government officials and the managements of various organisations to construct toilets to girls in all educational institutes in the district. She advised the officials of concerned departments to implement schemes meant for the welfare of women, effectively to get proper results.

Expressing concern over dowry deaths taking place across the State, despite stringent laws in force, Tripurana explained the laws and schemes pertaining to the safety and welfare of women in the State.

District Collector Surendra Mohan, District Welfare Officer Munnaiah, District Rural Development Officer Kiran Kumar, ICDS Regional Director Male Sharanya Reddy, CDPOs, supervisors and Anganwadi teachers participated in the programme.
