The Director General of Police (DGP), M Mahendar Reddy, suggested the police officials to make use of technology to prevent crime and for establishing a crime-free society besides strengthening the police system.

Khammam: The Director General of Police (DGP), M Mahendar Reddy, suggested the police officials to make use of technology to prevent crime and for establishing a crime-free society besides strengthening the police system.

The DGP held a video conference with all police commissioners and DSPs, from DGP office in Hyderabad on Friday. Addressing the officials, Mahendar Reddy ordered them to prepare a complete list of criminals by examining the CD files of last 10 years which would help them identify the criminals with ease besides cracking down the cases immediately.

The DGP also ordered the officials to take necessary steps for establishing special teams for completing the works along with uploading the details of the criminals online along with geotagging. “Give training to those applied for TS Cop which was started recently,” advised the DGP. Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal, DCP K Suresh Kumar, ACPs Ganesh, Rajesh, Prasen Kumar, Nagesh Reddy, Sadaniranjan, Venkateshwarlu and Vijay Babu, Additional Officer Sathya Kumar, Circle Inspectors Vijay Kumar, Anjaneyulu, Ramesh, Raji Reddy, Venkanna Babu and Nagendra Chary were present along with others.
