Mahbubnagar: The Congress activists in Mahbubnagar district on Tuesday staged a demonstration in protest against suspension of party MLAs from the Assembly. The suspension followed the ruckus and attack on the State Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud. “The KCR government is suppressing the voice of the opposition parties and resorting to repressive measures by suspending the Congress MLAs for raising people’s issues. Upon the call given by our State Congress leadership we have decided to express our protest in each and every mandal headquarters and expose the KCR government’s repression on the people,” said Vijay Kumar Reddy.
The congress party workers also came out on roads in Shadnagar, Achampet, Amrabad, Bijinapally, Alampur and other parts of erstwhile Mahabubnagar district and blocked roads and burnt effigies of Chief Minister K.
