Bhadrachalam: The Krishna Chaitanya Sangham of Korukonda from East Godavari district of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh on Friday presented processed one crore Talambralu (Goti Talambralu) to Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy.

Appa Rao, Krishna Chaitanya Sangam, speaking to the media persons, he said it took three months for over 5,000 devotees belonging 30 villages in the East Godavari district to make the Talambralu manually. Goti Talambralu is made with rice, whose husk is removed with nails and mixed with turmeric powder, he added.

Sita Ramulamma, a member of the group said they have been conducting the programme since 2012 and as usual, they brought the Talambralu here. She said despite the State division, the programme is being continuing, and they were presenting the Goti Talambralu to Bhadradri Ramudu.
