Nalgonda: The government on Tuesday issued orders constituting Nalgonda Agriculture Market Committee. The political parties had been demanding constitution of the committee for the last four years.

According to the official source, TRS senior leader S K Karim Pasha, who hails from Kanagal mandal, has been appointed as chairman of the Committee.

According to party leaders, minority leader Karim Pasha has been an active party worker since 2001 and he worked. He served as TRS mandal unit president for 17 years. The police booked a case against him for allegedly burning a bus at Duppalapally village during Telangana agitation. It was the first case booked during the agitation.

He thanked Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy, Nalgonda Assembly constituency in-charge Bhoopal Reddy and other leaders for supporting him.

Besides Karim Pasha, Pasham Naresh Reddy was appointed as vice-chairman. Thantenapally Bakkaiah , Sirsawada Saidulu, Bongarala Nagaiah, Nimmala Kotaiah, Kankanala Venkat Reddy, Chimata Yadamma, Elishala Venkateham and Gunda Ramesh Babu are the members of the committee.

Support of Karim Pasha distributed sweets to express their happiness and burst the fireworks at Clock tower centre here.
