Mahbubnagar: A social worker and philanthropists from Ranga Reddy district has vowed to distribute the money given to him under Rythu Bandhu scheme to the families of the farmers who committed suicide.

Anirudh Reddy, a young social worker from Ranga Reddy district, has been organising various welfare programmes and taking initiative to rescue the families of farmers who committed suicide due to debt.

With an aim to work for the welfare of the poor in the villages, Anirudh has formed ‘Yuva Sena,’ an organisation to work for the welfare of the poor and needy in the villages.

As the villages have been facing drinking water scarcity, the young social worker has donated funds for digging more than 20 borewells, in Rajapur, Kucharkal, Bureddipally and Jadcherla mandal and providing drinking water facilities to the villagers. “I had spent my own money and successfully dug 20 borewells and installed submersible pumps and erected electrical power costing more Rs one lakh on each in various villages and doing whatever I could to help the poor,” said Anirudh.

“My main aim is to serve the poor people in the villages. Particularly I am focusing on rescuing the families the families of farmers and poor Koolis who have lost their bread winners by committing suicides. We have a youth group in every village here in they will come to the rescue of the people who are in the need,” said Anirudh Reddy.

While welcoming the government’s initiative of Rythu Bhandu scheme which he said would benefit a great deal to the poor famers, however Anirudh Reddy also pointed out the state government should have also considered the plight of Tenant farmers and should have also come out with some scheme to help them also.

Anirudh is also participating in various welfare programmes and extending a helping hand to the helpless, accident victims, old age and also extending a financial help up to Rs 3000 to the families of bereaved victims.

He said that he is having 30 acres of agriculture land and would get more than Rs 1 lakh under Rythu Bandhu and he vowed to distribute the said amount to the poor families of deceased farmer.
