Mahbubnagar: The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) is planning to fight against the State government over the injustice meted out to the tenant farmers and is all set to go on a ‘Sadak Bandh’ programme on May 31 from Karimnagar to Khammam.

While taking part in the party flag hoisting programme in Yenugonda village in Mahbubnagar on Monday, JSP president Prof Kodandaram vowed to fight against the government for numerous errors in Pattadar passbooks given to the farmers as part of Rythu Bandhu scheme. Prof Kodandaram said he would fight against the government until all farmers were given Rs 4,000 per acre and did justice under the Rythu Bandhu programme.

Later, Kodandaram took part in a huge rally and garlanded the statue of Suravaram Pratapa Reddy on the occasion of his birth anniversary. He welcomed some local leaders into his party fold by felicitating with party shawls. “We are demanding the government to immediately come to the rescue of farmers who are grieving with errors in their land records. We will stand by the farmers and will fight until all the farmers get justice,” said Prof Kodandaram.
