Kothagudem: CPI will conduct public meetings on August 1 and 14 to protest against the anti-people policies of the State and Centeral Governments, said the party State General Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy here on Thursday.

Addressing the media at the party office, he said the TRS government and Central BJP government are implementing anti-people policies. He said people will reject both the parties in the coming elections..

He said the central government failed for the control the fuel prices. He also demanded Chief Minister K.Chandra Sekhar Rao to make statement about the Biyaram steel plant issue immediately. He questioned why the central government responded on the new districts formation. And why it is responding on the issue. Twenty districts are sufficient for the smooth administration of the state, he added.

He also demanded the government to give the patta passbooks for the tribal Podu lands immediately and provide Rythu Bandhu scheme benefits to all Podu lands farmers. State Joint Secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, District party secretary Shabeer Pasha and other leaders participated in the meeting.
