Wanaparthy rural subinspector of police was suspended on Thursday for resorting to corruption and taking bribes from the victims against whom cases are filed in the police station.

According to details, Mashchender Reddy, rural SI of Wanaparthy, was resorting to illegal practices and was harassing persons whoever coming to the police station by slapping false cases against them.
It is learnt that the SI was also not having good rapport with the colleagues and behaved rudely with his superiors. After receiving complaints against the SI the special investigation team and police intelligence teams conducted an enquiry against the SI and recommended for his suspension. The higher police authorities in Wanaparthy issued a suspension order against the SI for his alleged corrupt activities.
