Valigonda (Yadadri- Bhongir): Continuing her fight against alleged betrayal of her boyfriend, Jyothi on Friday scaled the cell tower in Valigonda village to focus the attention of the police. She demanded that the police and Revenue officials take action against her boyfriend, Bhaskar.
It may be recalled that Jyothi had staged a sit-in protest in front of Bhaskar’s house in the village. She sought justice. She alleged that Bhaskar had lured her by promising to marry her. But he betrayed her. The police had shifted her ot Ramannapet hospital as she became weak after launching protest.
Jyothi alleged that the police siding with Bhaskar, Jyothi climbed up the cell tower and threatened to commit suicide if her demand remained unmet. She relented after two hours of high drama.
The officials reached the sport and persuaded her to climb down by promising to ensure justice. She alleged that Bhongir MLA Shekar Reddy was obstructing her marriage to Bhaskar.
