Mahbubnagar: Children and youth must make book reading a habit as it will improve their overall personality, observed Radha Amar, Municipal Chairman while inaugurating Navachetana, a mobile book house in Mahbubnagar district on Friday.

The Navachetana mobile book house was set out from Hyderabad and reached Mahbubnagar on Friday. Inaugurating the mobile book house, Radha Amar exhorted children, youth and the elderly to make best use of this book house and improve their knowledge.

“ I appeal to youth and children to make reading book a habit as it will help not only grow general and social knowledge but will also you to develop their overall personality and improve their understanding of the society and IQ levels,” said the municipal chairman.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahbubnagar CPI district secretary Paramesh goud said that all the problems in the society are due to lack of literacy and knowledge. Therefore each and every individual must inculcate the habit of reading books and gain knowledge about society and the environment surrounding us.

“Knowledge is invaluable and it is the richest assets that a man can have with him and this is possible only by reading the books. The Navachetana mobile book house has all kinds of books right from children to the old age and each of us can make use of this book house to enhance our knowledge,” said Paramesh Goud.

The Navachetana book house is expected to stay in Mahbubnagar district for 15 days and the orgnaizers have urged the children, youth and candidates preparing for the competitive exams to make best use of the book house.
