Chess coaching camp begins

Vijayawada: With a motto of encouraging young kids in chess, Global Chess Academy started summer chess coaching camp here on Wednesday. Income Tax Commissioner Ajay Kumar officially launched the coaching camp by playing first move with a kid. Speaking on the occasion, IT Commissioner Ajay Kumar said that chess is a game of mind and it keeps the brain sharp. He advised the parents to encourage the kids in sports. He reminded that forced education will not give proper results. He called upon the students to avail the opportunity and master chess to become grand masters. Global Chess Academy chief coach Kasim urged the parents to make use of summer holidays and get their kids professional training in chess. Koneru Ashok Kumar, Rajendra and parents were present.
