Mother seeks help for son's surgery

Gudivada (Krishna): A grieving mother named Padmavati has sought financial support for performing kidney surgery to her son in NIMS hospital in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media, she had broken down into tears requesting the donors. Venkateshwara Rao is the son of tractor driver Velisetti Babu and Padmavati who live on the outskirts of Parnasa village in Gudivada rural mandal. He was pursuing MBA from Sarojini Institute of Technology situated in Telaprolu village of Unguturu Mandal. When he had fallen sick recently, they admitted him a hospital. The doctors upon checking informed that both of his kidneys were completely damaged and surgery must be performed. The operation costs about Rs 10 lakh, the mother informed.
