subramanya wamyVijayawada : A Janata Party president Subramanya Swamy has said Rahul Gandhi was ineligible to become Prime Minister of the country as he owns citizenship of Italy as well.

Delivering a lecture on 'Emerging Political Trends in India', here on Sunday, Swamy said Sonia Gandhi had officially become a citizen of India in the year 1983. He recalled that he had objected to Sonia Gandhi becoming Prime Minister in the year 2004 also on the same plank. He would also oppose Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister of the country.

He also took the Union Government to task for its failure to bring back the black money from Swiss banks, he alleged that Rahul Gandhi has an account outside the country.

On YSRCP and its prospects, he predicted that the YSRCP president, Jagan Mohan Reddy, would come to power and merge the party with the parent party Congress like others in due course.

The economic expert also predicted that India would become a super power within a period of five years and appealed to the citizens to vote for the governments which strive for the development of the country.

Youth should play a major role in electing the government which is against corruption. India has the highest number of youth population and they should take responsibility of the country by electing good government.
