60 additional seats to Tirupati IIT

An additional 60 seats have been allotted to the IIT, Tirupati. The IIT already has 120 seats and now the total number has gone up to 180.
Tirupati: An additional 60 seats have been allotted to the IIT, Tirupati. The IIT already has 120 seats and now the total number has gone up to 180.
Of these 60, 30 seats are meant for chemical engineering and ten each for computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
The addition of new seats is being seen as a feather in the cap of Tirupati IIT. The IIT is known for its teaching, infrastructure and other facilities.
