Two killed in jeep-lorry collision in Nirmal

Two persons were killed in a road mishap on Tuesday morning in Nirmal district. The incident took place near the old bus stand in Dilwarpur mandal centre when a jeep collided with an oncoming lorry.

The deceased were identified as Shaik Naseer and Shaik Saleem, both residents of Pulenager in Darmabad. According to the reports, the duo received fatal injuries when the jeep dashed the truck at a curve which resulted in instant death for both of them.

Police suspect overspending might have resulted in the accident. A case has been registered against the driver of the lorry.
