All the hospitals in the state will stop Aarogyasri services from today protesting against the pending dues from the government. The Telangana Network Hospitals which refrained the out-patient and diagnostic services will also end the in-patient services from today.

The network hospitals association has submitted a memorandum to Telangana health authorities and Aarogyasri Health Care Trust informing that they are boycotting the services from December 1 due to pending dues. Around Rs 1200 crore dues were pending over the last eight months, the association stated.

There are around 236 private and 96 public network hospitals in the state providing the Aarogyasri medical services. On an average 10,000 out-patients and 3000 in-patients visit the hospitals. These hospitals operate 1000 patients in a day under the scheme.
