The competition is fierce since Revanth Reddy is fighting for victory from this constituency. Citizens from both the Telugu states are interested to see if he would win this year. The constituency consists of 2 lakh voters. One of the voters said, "People in Kodangal have seen a lot of hardships. Our problems need to be solved first no matter who comes into power."
DSP Ravinder Reddy said they have security forces in every area around Kodangal to prevent any mishaps. Security has been amplified is 64 police stations which are critical mong 264 total stations.
