MLC Ramulu Naik who has been suspended from TRS claimed that he was under serious threat from the party. He alleged that his death will be showcased as an accident.
Naik on Monday met Legislative council chairman Swamy Goud to give an explanation for the notices being received by him for defecting to another party. After the meeting, Naik said that he has sought four weeks time from Goud for the explanation, but it was denied. "Governor had given him MLC post as he was recognised as a social worker," said Naik adding that the TRS has been targetting him for one year.
Asserting that he has not associated with any party, Naik said that TRS is targetting him for extending his support to scheduled tribes. He also said that he had met AICC president Rahul Gandhi appealing to enhance reservation for the tribals.
