Vijayawada: CBI to investigate the police officials who were present and did the first investigation in the Ayesha Meera murder case.
it's learned that CBI has drafted the names of 15 police officers. Starting from the first week of the February, CBI will begin the interrogation of the police officers.
In this case, CBI has already investigated the accused Pidathala Satyam Babu at his residence in Annasagaram village, Nandigama in Krishna district on 18 January.
On 27 December 2007, Ayesha Meera a B-Pharmacy student was raped and murdered in her hostel room at Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district.
From the beginning, this murder case underwent into various political pressure. Finally, AP High Court had handed over this case to CBI.
