Patna: Gupteshwar Pandey is the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Bihar.

A 1987 batch IPS officer, Pandey will succeed S.K. Dwivedi who retires on Thursday. Pandey until now headed the Bihar Police Academy and Bihar Military Police.
