Indore: In view of growing population of the city, Madhya Pradesh Health Minister Rustam Singh has announced to open a new 300-bed hospital in the district hospital premises here.

"A new 300-bed hospital will be constructed in the district hospital premises having all modern facilities for treatment of all major ailments," Singh said yesterday on the occasion of completion of Chief Minister's Health Service Camp.

The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the hospital is ready and the state government would sanction a budget for its construction within a month.

The minister said the government is ensuring that no person remains devoid of treatment and it will also provide treatment to the poor through government expenses.

The Chief Minister's health service camps are being organised across the entire state till February 28 for providing treatment to poor patients.

After examination at such camps, such patients would be treated at government or private hospitals and would be also given medicines, he said.
