New Delhi: A delegation of TD Parliamentary party (TDPP) here on Thursday morning met Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu to impress upon him the need for setting up an integrated steel factory at Kadapa. It also led a JAC delegation to the Vice-President.

RS member C M Ramesh, explained to the Vice-President the willingness of the state government to provide all facilities like water, power and land to facilitate the setting up of the factory.

Explaining the abundance of ore available for the plant in and around the areas, Ramesh urged Naidu to use his good offices to drive sense into the Centre to keep up the electoral and bifurcation promises.

Reiterating that the steel factory was the dream of Rayalaseema people as it would provide a number of jobs to the youth in the region, they said the Centre must set up the factory without further delay as it was its bounden duty to do so.
