Senior politician from Andhra Pradesh Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah made some controversial comments on actor and former union minister Chiranjeevi. Former Union Human Resources Development minister Purandareshwari has released 'My 60 Years of Political Journey', the autobiographical book of Jogaiah.
In the book, he said that Chiranjeevi has no commitment and his brother Pawan Kalyan is a committed person. Thus, Chiranjeevi should go to movies and Pawan should enter politics, he advised. The senior leaders says he joined the then PRP party with the hope that a Kapu leader would become CM but Chiranjeevi sold party tickets.
The former MP further mentioned that Chiranjeevi was the only reason behind his defeat in Palakollu. "When a producer who spent lot of money for Chiranjeevi requested Chiru to watch his film, the Megastar had not turned up even though he was at home," he said.
