GST is like AIDS virus to those…..

Prime Minister Modiji has once again disappointed several prejudiced political pandits that he is in the office not to play petty politics but to build new India. The primary approach towards the above goal is the complete unification of the country i.e., ensure India to remains as ‘one India’ in administration, taxation and regulation.

Regional politics instead of helping the country and the states to develop are engaged in fragmenting the country by all corrupt means and most of the regional parties have learned the art of being in power with such politics and gimmickry.

Former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh has to pay a huge price to the regional politics to run UPA 1 and 2 in the name of coalition compulsion, is well known to the world. Such coalition dharma has not only ruined the congress but certainly has affected the image of the country as well. Unfortunately congress is still not learned the lesson and instead of carving a new agenda to strengthen the party, is seeking the support of all those bankrupt regional parties that had dented the image of congress. This would give edge only to regional parties and not to congress.

Implementation of GST is indeed a revolutionary step and will certainly take the country to great heights in coming years. GST from the scientific sense is like lentivirus AIDS to all those who do not want to pay tax, do not want to maintain the details of all financial transactions and book of account, but wants to become benamie of some looters, earn lot of money but on official records, wants to remain as below the taxable income group.

AIDS virus is very slowly affecting virus, which affects the very defense system of the host and there is no treatment. The most common source of AIDS infection is immoral behaviour, promiscuity and unsafe sexual practices. The GST virus is going to affect all those unorganized groups who want to make money but do not want to pay tax, don’t maintain book of account etc. All such people cannot escape the GST AIDS virus. Perhaps they may continue to engage in all such practices but like how once the HIV virus enters the host, death is certain, GST AIDS virus is going to kill all those non tax compliance group, although it may take a little time.

People who do not want to pay tax have the absolute freedom to do so but not by suppressing the facts but by consciously not earning much so that they can remain poor and need not pay tax. Every individual and enterprise that aspires to grow and develop will never hereafter choose to remain unorganized, outside the tax paying group. Unnecessarily people carry fear that once they are registered with GST must pay tax. Tax remittance is effective only when the turnover or the income exceeds the stipulated limit. But by registering with GST, most of these small to medium unorganized business groups can avail lot of benefit.

Instead of clarity, confusion has been deliberately created over GST by many owing to own political reasons. Many political parties oppose GST and cause confusion among common man because they have learned the art of fishing only from muddy ponds. But quite contrary to that, Modiji is bringing clarity, transparency, accountability and sense of responsibility & self discipline.

The present generation youth is very much part of all such much needed initiatives of Modiji. Only very small proportion of people in the unorganized sector really opposes GST and the rest are opposing mostly due to the lack of awareness and knowledge. Unfortunately these innocent people are prevented from understanding the goodness of GST by the selfish, vested interests and some regional parties.

All the existing tax payers are extremely happy with the move because they are sure that in coming days either they will get what they deserve for the tax they pay or their tax burden would decrease due to several fold increase in tax payers.

It is like all those tempted people, people who cannot refrain from the promiscuous tendency are always advised of safe sex to prevent AIDS. Similarly all those intentional tax evaders must remember the proverb – prevention is better than cure. So register with GST and starts to comply all taxation norms. Otherwise the GST virus is going to destroy you. As much as you need India to do business and make money, India also needs your tax for development.

Modiji has tossed the coin for win-win game, so let us continue to support Modiji to win elections after elections so that we the citizens of this country also continue to win.
