Mumbai (Agencies): Claiming innocence in the betting case, Vindoo Dara Singh, said on Thursday that many politicians and their sons were involved in cricket betting but no action was taken against them. Vindoo also said Raj Kundra was his friend and was a good person and there was nothing wrong if he wanted Rajasthan Royals to win every time they play. Speaking to media, at the commissioner of police's office, Vindoo said he had full faith in the judiciary and he was confident of being acquitted in the case. Vindoo reported to the commissioner of police's office on Thursday to mark his attendance before the investigating officer as per the court's direction. He said he had no complaints against the crime branch which arrested him. "Police did their work as they thought there was more to the conversations they had but I have done nothing wrong," he said. Vindoo further said crores of people bet but if betting had to stop, then police needed to catch the bookies. He accepted that he knew many cricketers not just from India but all over the world but said they had nothing to do with betting. I am innocent: Vindu Actor Vindu Dara Singh, claimed innocence saying that the police have no evidence to link him with the betting scam. Asked if police tried to implicate him, Vindu said, "No No, why they will try to implicate me. I didn't do any crime, I didn't do any wrong. They needed to know the truth, when they came to know, they let me go." Asked about Rajasthan Royals owner Raj Kundra, whose passport was seized after close to 12 hours of questioning by the Delhi Police, Dara Singh said, "Raj Kundra is a fried. He is a good human being. I know him very well.
