In its bid to add an element of quality and make headway in the coming season, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has announced 24 probables for its Ranji squad for 2016-17.

According to Association Secretary, K John Manoj, the team has been languishing for long in the Plate Division and it was time to go up the ladder. Making it to the Elite Division would be on top of the priorities, he said.
Towards this, Tamil Nadu imports former international S Badrinath, who skippered Vidarbha in the last season, is likely to be the captain while Bharat Arun will be the team coach.
Meanwhile, all the players are to report to the coach at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium by 6.30am for the conditioning camp on September 7.
HCA also named the senior women ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams with Gouher Sultana and Shravanthi Naidu as their respective captains.
