Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Sunday unanimously adopted all the recommendations of the Justice Lodha Committee panel on reforms. It has also decided to implement the judgement of the Supreme Court in CA No. 4235/14, dated 18-7-2016 in letter and spirit.

The decisions were resolved at a Special General Body meeting that was chaired by Association President Dr G Vivekananda and held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (RGICS).

The meeting was not without drama. Members RM Bhaskar, S Venkateshwaran, Ajmal Asad, and C Babu Rao raised objections over hypothetical considerations that the Supreme Court could possibly review its own orders. However, it was straightaway rejected by President.

Earlier, the Joint Secretary was not allowed to participate following objections by his electoral opponent Vanka Pratap, who obtained a stay on the election.
