Dharmana inaugurates CC?roads at Voppangi

Srikakulam: Local MLA Dharmana Prasad Rao inaugurated CC roads laid in SC, BC colonies of Voppangi village of the rural mandal in Srikakulam district on Sunday. The SC Colony road was laid at a cost of Rs 8.5 lakh, the burial ground CC road for Rs 3 lakh and the BC Colony CC road for Rs 2 lakh. The minister also laid the foundation-stone for a tar road that will come up at a cost of Rs 20 lakh at Shyamalapalem. On this occasion, the MLA said that drinking water scheme for Rs 18 crore has been sanctioned for all villages in Srikakulam rural mandal from Nagavalli river. The water pipes in the villages will be connected to small tanks for the purpose, he said. Earlier, the MLA planted saplings at BC Colony of Voppangi village and examined the drinking water bore well.
