Porn sites banned in Telangana

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son and IT minister KTR are all set to make the newly formed state a clean one. They want brand T to have a clean reputation. How else would you explain the state's IT department talking to Department of Telecommunicaitons (DoT) seeking help to ban porn sites in the state? The Information Technology department has even sent a letter to DoT directing the internet service providers (ISPs) and mobile phone service providers to ban porn websites.

The IT Department is believed to have asked DoT to identify porn and other objectionable sites on its own and ban them in Telangana. A blanket ban on Porn sites like in Saudi Arabia and China however can't be done.
