K Chandrasekhar RaoHyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is learnt to have extended his full support to Andhra Pradesh, which was demanding special status category for it in the AP Reorganisation Act.

This was disclosed by Naidu to the members of the TD Legislature Party at its meeting held on Monday. Briefing the members on the deliberations he had with KCR at Raj Bhavan on Sunday, Naidu told them that KCR expressed his anguish over the injustice meted out to AP while the State was divided. KCR had requested Governor ESL Narasimhan to make it fast so that the State would get some relief.

Sources close to the AP CM said Naidu also expressed his willingness to extend support to the development of the Telangana.

To counter YSR Congress Party’s accusations and allegations in the session, Naidu instructed the Ministers and MLAs to prepare thoroughly on the subjects they were assigned and thwart all the opposition attempts to defame the government in the aspects of welfare and development.

It is learnt that the Chief Minister explained the members in detail the hurdles the government was facing to waive farmers' loans after the RBI rejected their plea to reschedule the farm loans. He was keen to fill all nominated posts including temple trust boards very soon. He suggested the MLAs to recommend the names of the leaders, who served the party sincerely, for the posts.
