Nalgonda: Telugu Desam Ex MLA Mothkupalli Narsimhulu on Sunday accused the TRS government of trying to ensure there was no Opposition in the State.

Speaking to the media, he asserted that neutralising the Opposition by TRS was not possible. Narsimhulu contended that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was limiting himself only to tall talk, without doing anything worthwhile.

The TDP leader claimed that KCR was responsible for the death of several senior persons after the administration allegedly denied pensions to them. He cited as examples of KCR’s talk ‘plans to convert Karimnagar into London’ and ‘constructing high-rise buildings near Tankbund’, even when the government was not able to supply power ‘even for one hour’.

While demanding the government to provide ex-gratia of Rs.10 lakh each to the families of farmers who committed suicide in Telangana, he said the party was paying each family Rs.50,000.

Narsimhulu said he would support KCR’s plan to develop Yadagirigutta as a temple city; but the government should clear local residents’ concern of losing their lands. He wanted KCR to persuade the Centre to agree to SC categorisation.
